Back In Action

Back In Action is a Non for Profit that Valerie and I have set up to help kids who have gone through chemotherapy treatments for cancer. While these therapies help the children fight off cancer, it causes atrophy to the bone, connective, and muscle tissue. It makes them weaker and more susceptible to injury.  The goal of the this program is to provide training for these kids that will get them fit enough to return to sports at no cost to the parents.

For our first fundraising event, we will be hosting an open house at our location inside the 10th Street Sports Center.  The event will take place on May 21st, and it will include a fitness challenge where participants will compete in activities that will challenge their strength, speed, and endurance.  The entry form for the fitness challenge can be found here:

I will encourage all of you to come out as we will have other events going on that day as well, like games for kids, a cookout, and a social afterwards.  It should be a great time, and I hope to see you there!
